Donna Sauter is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years in income tax accounting compliance, controversy, and consulting.  The most recent five years she has expanded her services to provide forensic accounting and litigation support services related to income tax matters.  Donna is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Donna has provided expert and consulting services in cases involving income tax matters, claimed breach of Standard of Care, errors and omissions made by a CPA, and she has calculated damages for such matters.  She has been sought by insurance companies to provide income tax advisory services to their insured CPAs as part of their claim prevention services.

Donna served as a Member on the AICPA Tax Practice Responsibilities Committee, which monitors and makes recommendations on internal and external rules regulating the conduct of a tax practice.  Prior to this committee, she served as a Member on the AICPA Tax Practice and Procedures Committee, which monitors developments in and changes to IRS procedural and administrative guidance and develops resources for AICPA members to help them understand and comply with the complex rules of practice before the IRS.
